about
When we first heard the chorus of ‘Agony’ by Slaughter To Prevail, we immediately decided that we should do our own version of this song. We did a pretty deep structural and stylistic reworking; the result could be described as "nu deathcore". Also, we have already filmed and prepared a pretty decent music video for this track, which we will drop along with the premiere release on Sound Revival Production.
lyrics
Lyrics:
I want to know if you've touched the center of your own sorrow
If you've been opened by life's betrayals
Or have become shriveled and closed from fear
Of further pain, I want to know if you can sit with pain
I wanna know who you trust, don't betray your own soul, just know
if you won't risk for what you love you'll be gone
It doesn't matter if
the story you tell me
is true, I want to see
if you're still human
And each of us will have to go through the agony
And each of us will have to go through the agony
I wanna know if you can do something worthy of your soul
if you can source your own life from its presence
you won't become shriveled and closed from fear
Of further pain,
and now I know that you can sit with pain
I wanna know what you ache for
I want to know what you live for
It doesn't interest me how you came to be here
Stay in the fire with me
if you're still human
And each of us will have to go through the agony
And each of us will have to go through the agony
I wanna know what you ache for
I want to know what you live for
I want to know if you will stand with me
In the center of the fire
And not shrink back
I wanna know what you ache for, ache for
I wanna know if you touch the dark
I want to know if you will stand with me
In the center of the fire
And not shrink back
Each of us will go through the agony
Each of us will to go through the pain
Hell in us
And each of us will have to go through the agony
And each of us will have to go through the agony
